Who it’s for

The right focus. A fresh start.

Years 3–11

A broader Keystone course develops a whole stage of learning. Subject Booster is different: it concentrates on one subject or area where a student needs extra help, such as a tricky topic, a gap from earlier years or confidence in a particular subject.

A starting point shaped around your child’s goals.

What students learn

Make sense of it.
Build on it.

The learning areas at the heart of Subject Booster.

01

Maths booster

Revisit a key idea such as fractions, algebra or problem solving, then practise applying it independently.

02

English booster

Target comprehension, vocabulary, grammar or writing with focused examples and feedback.

03

Science booster

Where available, break down tricky concepts and practise explaining them clearly.

04

Focused objectives

Start with the topics that matter most, agreed with you and reviewed as understanding grows.

How the course works

A place to focus.
A rhythm to grow.

A classroom routine that makes space for questions, practice and encouragement.

Classroom-based

Face-to-face learning at a local Keystone centre, with tutor guidance and time to practise.

Learning alongside others

Students are placed by age, school year, current level and learning needs.

Regular sessions

Learning builds steadily, so new ideas rest on secure foundations.

Time to make it click

Each session balances explanation, guided work and independent practice.

Benefits & outcomes

More than marks.
Belief in themselves.

Confidence that grows

Manageable steps and specific encouragement help students attempt harder work and recover from mistakes.

Real understanding

Stronger foundations let students make sense of new material rather than memorise answers.

Visible progress

Structured teaching, practice and feedback help turn understanding into academic improvement.

Progress & parent updates

Share the progress.

Understanding matters as much as answers. Our approach keeps learning goals clear and parents involved.

  1. 01

    Understand the starting point

We find out where your child is with specific topics and individual learning gaps, so teaching starts in the right place.

  2. 02

    Review, practise, progress

Tutors check understanding, explain things a different way when needed and provide further practice.

  3. 03

    Keep parents in the picture

Ongoing communication and progress information, so you have a clear picture of how your child is developing.
